Over the past 8 years many public statements have been made by major players in the ‘Shirley McKie’ controversy. In addition official reports have been published ranging from the 2000 SCRO Inspection report by Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary to Lord Wheatley’s Court of Session judgement last year allowing Shirley a civil hearing.
